When They Come for Me - A Poem by Alejandro Jimenez (2017)

Directed by Diego Estrada5m

Part love story and part resistance, Alejandro's poem brings to light the difficult conversations that undocumented immigrants have with their loved ones. While fear may be used as a tool to oppress communities, this poem illustrates that an immigrant's spirit/memory is not easily erased nor caged.
