An exercise in breaking down (or recomposing) movement, in the style of Muybridge and Marey. Drawing on martial arts training manuals and the voices of practitioners, it is also an exercise in second-degree admiration, offering a sensitive, comical, and critical view of the "virile" choreography that characterizes these combat sports.
