Sean Dunne is an American documentary filmmaker known for raw portraits of subcultures and overlooked corners of society, stripping away artifice to reveal the dignity, humor, beauty, and truth of life on the margins. Dunne’s career began with the short documentary The Archive (2008), which premiered at Sundance and was nominated for an Emmy, and American Juggalo (2011), a viral portrait of hardcore fans of Insane Clown Posse.
