Julian Murphy

Biography

Julian graduated from Cambridge in 1987. After a brief stint at Yorkshire Television Julian joined Central where he worked as a Script Editor on a number of successful series including BOON and INSPECTOR MORSE. He then developed PEAK PRACTICE with Lucy Gannon and was a Story Editor for the first two series. In 1994 he left Central to co-found an independent production company, Ikona Films, which was immediately commissioned to make THE VET for BBC1.
