Jacques Fabbri (or Fabri), whose real name was Jacques Claude Fabbricotti, was born on July 4, 1925, in Paris and died on December 24, 1997, in Tourgéville. He was a French actor, director, and producer who left his mark on theater, cinema, and television with his warm presence and good-natured humor. Trained at the École du Vieux-Colombier after World War II, he began his career on stage before founding his own troupe in 1953 and then directing the Comédie de Provence.
