Leroy Salvador was a Filipino actor and film director who began his career as a child star. He first appeared in the 1946 film Aladin, portraying the young version of the title character played by Jaime de la Rosa. Recognised as one of the most talented figures in Philippine cinema, Salvador later became known for his versatility both in front of and behind the camera. He was the eldest among the well-known Salvador family in the entertainment industry.
