Sacha Bulthuis (born Alexandra Paula Maria Bulthuis) was a highly respected Dutch stage and film actress. Born into an artistic family in Doorn, her father Rico Bulthuis was a well-known writer, journalist, and puppeteer. She discovered her passion for performing early on, eventually training at the Amsterdam Theater School in the late 1960s. Bulthuis became a defining face of Dutch theater, spending decades as a prominent member of the prestigious Toneelgroep De Appel ensemble in The Hague.
