George Jeffrie

Biography

George Jeffrie (19 October 1964 — 19 September 2020) was an English television writer and actor, known for The Windsors (2016), Pete Versus Life (2010), and The Armstrong and Miller Show (2007). Together with his longtime writing partner, Bert Tyler-Moore, Jeffrie wrote three successful long-running comedy series for Channel 4. The first, Star Stories, won a British Comedy Award in 2006 and was twice BAFTA nominated; this was followed by cult hit Pete Versus Life starring Rafe Spall; finally by The Windsors starring Harry Enfield, the third series of which aired earlier in 2020 and which was a…
