Biography

Richard Hone - WW 2 Armoured Vehicles and Weapon Historian After a full 22 year career in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, much of it spent in Germany, Richard turned his intimate knowledge of tanks and armoured vehicles into a passionate and long-standing hobby. Model making, for which he is renowned, combined with a detailed knowledge of Wehrmacht orders of battle and tactics, makes him an important part of the BHTV team in all our Second World War films.  Richard’s other great enthusiasm are the soldiers of the Durham Light Infantry and their battles.
