Karen Suzane is a Brazilian filmmaker, director, and screenwriter who has quickly become one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary Latin American cinema. A graduate in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF), Suzane spent years honing her craft through powerful, socially conscious independent shorts and documentaries.
