Biography

Francisca Valenzuela is a Chilean-American singer-songwriter, poet, multi-instrumentalist, and activist. She gained attention in Chile and Latin America in the late 2000s, following the release of her debut album, Muérdete La Lengua (2007), her profile continued increasing with the release of her second album, Buen Soldado (2011). Her third studio album, Tajo Abierto (2014) was released under her own independent record label Frantastic Records, and earned her first Latin Grammy Award nomination.
