Pekka Langer

Biography

Pekka Langer (1919–1996), born Ture Per-Olof Langer, was a Swedish journalist, author, and radio and television presenter. He began his career as a journalist and later moved into radio, where he became one of Sweden's most popular entertainers during the 1950s and 1960s. Langer hosted and appeared in many popular programs, including Natttuppen, När då, då?, Bit för bit, and Notknäckarna. He was also a presenter of Svensktoppen and Sommartoppen.
