Biography

Actress and educator Lupe (Guadalupe) Messa Deus built an extensive career in independent performing arts: in 1983, she performed in Eduardo Pavlovsky's El señor Galíndez with the Teatro de La Comuna (Sala de La Candela); she maintained a close bond with the Teatro Circular in productions such as Bufones, Nunca estuviste tan adorable, and Sexo en la cabeza (presented at the 2005 Porto Alegre festival); and she was part of the cast of Gente guapa, gente importante at El Tinglado.
