Biography

Interdisciplinary artist Ithaka Darin Pappas, also known as Ithaka (photographer, sculptor, filmmaker, author, musician, and actor), was raised in Southern California. He has traveled widely, having lived and worked in Japan, Greece, Portugal, Mexico, and Brazil, where he dedicated ten years to creating at his jungle studio, AkahtiLândia, located in the State of São Paulo. In addition to producing short films and videos, Ithaka has released nine albums of original spoken-word and ambient hip hop music.
