M. Dhaffa Attoriq

Biography

Born in 2002, M. Dhaffa Attoriq is an Indonesian-Minangkabau director, writer, and producer. He is a graduate of Universitas Padjadjaran’s Television and Film program. Raised in a devout Muslim community, he directs films that examine the distance between faith and those who claim to speak for it, and who gets hurt in that distance. While as a screenwriter and producer, he works across genres. He is currently refining his craft while developing his feature directorial debut, A Mother’s Niqab.
