Kim Jun Ok

Biography

Kim Jun-ok (Korean: 김준옥), born June 25, 1935, is a North Korean animation director and People's Artist. He has been a key figure at SEK Studio (formerly the Korean Art Film Studio and later the Korean 4.26 Children's Film Studio) since graduating from Pyongyang University of Fine Arts in 1958. Born in Pyoksong County, South Hwanghae Province, Kim Jun-ok began his career as an artist at the studio and has since been active as an animation artist and director in North Korea.
