Aamani (born November 16, 1973) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu and Tamil cinema, alongside appearances in Kannada films. She began her career in Tamil cinema under the screen name Meenakshi, before playing leading roles in Telugu cinema starting with the comedy *Jamba Lakidi Pamba* (1993). That same year, she starred in *Mister Pellam* (1993), winning the Nandi Award for Best Actress. For her performance in *Subha Lagnam* (1994), Aamani won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu.
