Biography

Marco Santos is a Portuguese filmmaker from Porto whose work moves between fiction, documentary and formal experimentation. His films explore the relationships between territory, body, memory and identity, approaching cinema as a space for observation and inquiry. Working within auteur and experimental cinema, Santos is interested in historical erasure, emotional residue and the unstable relationship between truth and representation.
