From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Lyndall Georgina Hobbs is an Australian film director and producer. She was born in Melbourne, Australia in March 1952. She was a close childhood friend of the journalist Amanda Zachariah of the Geelong Advertiser. She spent a considerable period of her life in the United Kingdom during which time she directed 'Steppin' Out' featuring top UK act Secret Affair before moving to Hollywood in the United States.
